However, with arguments, constant threats of nuking, and general chaos, I thought it was only right to stay on. SSY would remain for some time in early 2025, but disagreements with member states would eventually cause that program to collapse and a final nuke would conclude the story of SSY—or so we thought. Republic. Inevitably, on the 11th April 2024, the Bodroum Republic declared independence in a way turning SSY into SBUR with a different name. SSY would however inevitably resurge from a troubled initiation, with the summer of 2024 becoming the group’s height, having 200 active members, members states, and interesting and engaging monthly elections to keep the server active and democratic.
