7 REAL LIFE : Recently, there have been a number of violent episodes where Swedish youths have been charged with committing crimes in Denmark. Since 1 August, five Swedes have been charged with committing crimes in Denmark. According to Danish police, Danish criminals get paid by getting Swedes to commit crime in Denmark. This particularly concerns young Swedish men, who are often under 18 years of age.
In fact, since April there have been 25 episodes where criminal groups in Denmark hire Swedish criminals to carry out crimes, says Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard. However, many of the cases are not known to the public because the police stopped them before they happened.
